Regular members are companies that as a significant portion of their businesses make or sell chemical products in the United States. Dues are based on third-party sales of chemical products manufactured or sold in the United States (this includes products imported for sale in the United States).

Our members share a common commitment to driving innovation in our industry, economy, environment and society.

Benefits

The value, benefits, and opportunities that membership offers provide an immediate return on investment through:

  • Powerful advocacy
  • Enhanced performance and operating efficiencies
  • New business opportunities
  • Stronger stakeholder relations
  • Economic and industry intelligence, research and benchmarking
ACC is committed to improved environmental, health and safety performance through the world-class Responsible Care® initiative, participation in which is a condition of ACC membership.

ACC delivers. We have a highly-skilled staff located just steps from Capitol Hill; an aggressive, results-driven advocacy agenda; cutting-edge communications capabilities; economic forecasting and industry trends data; a proactive long-range research program and exceptional member service that make us second to none.

Even in the most challenging climates, ACC delivers results. During the 113th Congress:

  • Secured the introduction and bipartisan support of the Chemical Safety Improvement Act (CSIA)

  • Advanced significant IRIS enhancements to improve federal chemical risk assessments

  • Secured EPA withdrawal of proposals to limit CBI claims and create a “chemicals of concern” list

  • Protected product markets by defeating or amending nearly 300 misguided product attacks or restrictions in 36 states

  • Drove the reintroduction of the Shaheen-Portman Energy Savings and Industrial Competitiveness Act
