Coordinator, Chemical Products and Technology

The position is responsible for supporting designated staff with administrative, financial management and planning services provided to groups within the Chemical Products and Technology (CPT) division. This includes handling meeting logistics, tracking budgets, managing contracts and payments, conducting research, responding to inquiries, preparing documents, and maintaining electronic and paper-based files. This position also directly supports select CPT groups and overall CPT operations, including management of assigned task groups, projects, websites, systems, and operations. The position reports directly to the Senior Director, Chemical Products and Technology.

Training, Outreach and Partnerships Manager

The position is responsible for the strategy and execution of national/international responder training and outreach initiatives. The position manages event coordination and logistics, grant management, and well as stakeholder engagement. The position engages with the TRANSCAER México program and requires fluency in Spanish. The position reports directly to the Director, Training, Outreach and Partnership.

Director, Human Resources

The position is responsible for overseeing assigned human resources projects and programs in the areas of employment, employee relations, performance management, and training and development for CHEMTREC, a wholly owned subsidiary of the American Chemistry Council (ACC). The position is also responsible for onboarding and off-boarding of all CHEMTREC staff. The position works closely with all levels of employees throughout CHEMTREC and reports directly to ACC’s Senior Director, Human Resources.

Coordinator, Communications and Public Affairs

This position is responsible for coordinating the Plastics Division’s outreach activities, team meetings, member newsletter, and other communications. The position is also responsible for managing administrative office procedures and workflow by initiating contracts, processing invoices and tracking team budgets, and reports directly to the Senior Director, Public Affairs and Communications.

Director, Packaging Sustainability

The position is responsible for helping to advance American Chemistry Council’s efforts to shape and influence Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) legislation, regulations and implementation. The position is also responsible for analyzing and developing policy and directly engaging decisionmakers and stakeholders. The position is further responsible for building stakeholder alignment and ensuring ACC’s advocacy initiatives are strategic, collaborative, and impactful. The position reports directly to the Senior Director, Plastics Sustainability.

Manager, Political Mobilization

The position is responsible for enhancing the advocacy efforts of the American Chemistry Council (ACC) by creating champions from targeted members of Congress through direct political engagement within their applicable districts. The position is also responsible for assisting and motivating member company facilities representatives to execute robust engagement in field-based political and grassroots activities with an emphasis on digital advocacy. The position reports directly to the Senior Director, Political Mobilization.

Director, Product Groups

The position is responsible for serving as the designated staff executive and managing all aspects of assigned groups within the Chemical Products and Technology (CPT) division, including directing administrative, technical, advocacy and planning services. The position will provide support for and manage specific CPT groups and consortia. The position works closely with key internal and external stakeholders and coordinates across ACC on key cross-cutting policy issues.  This position reports directly to the Senior Director, CPT.
