Coordinator, Chemical Products and Technology
This position is responsible for providing administrative, financial, and issue management support services to assigned groups managed by the Chemical Products and Technology (CPT) division. The position may also support overall CPT operations. The position reports directly to the Senior Director, CPT.
Coordinator, Product Advocacy
The position is responsible for supporting designated staff with administrative, financial and management services provided to groups within the Plastics division. The position directly supports several division teams and groups, and overall division operations. The position functionally supports the Center for the Polyurethane Industry (CPI), the Polycarbonate-BPA Global Alliance, as well as other division staff and reports directly to the Senior Director, Product Advocacy.
Director, Global Plastics Policy - Circularity
The position is responsible for advocacy and coalition building for the Plastics Division to advance circular economy initiatives and sound public policy with key stakeholders across the plastics value chain. The position will leverage technical expertise in multilateral discussions to support the adoption of sound public policies. The position will lead development of policies through a collaborative process. The position reports directly to the Senior Director, Global Plastics Policy.
Senior General Ledger Manager
The position is assists in overseeing all aspects of the financial, accounting and budgeting activities of the CHEMTREC, LLC, an entity of the American Chemistry Council (ACC). Responsibilities of this position include preparation and/or review of month end and year end journal entries, monthly GL and cash account reconciliations, assisting in financial statement preparation, assisting in budget/forecast preparation and implementation, and assisting in yearend financial audit preparation. The position reports directly to the Controller, CHEMTREC.
Senior Director, Federal Affairs
The position is responsible for representing the American Chemistry Council (ACC) and its members on Capitol Hill and, as appropriate, the Executive Branch. The position is also responsible for developing lobbying and related advocacy strategy on assigned issues; managing and collaborating with outside counsel and lobbying consultants; scheduling and facilitating meetings with lawmakers and staff; as well as responding to congressional inquiries and requests to testify at public hearings. The position collaborates closely with appropriate in-house ACC staff and reports directly to the Vice President, Federal Affairs.
Director, Plastics Sustainability Policy
The position supports federal plastics policy development and coordinates American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) federal advocacy workstreams within the Plastics division by working closely with the ACC federal lobbying team. The position is responsible advancing a pro-active policy and advocacy agenda that benefits an integrated plastics value chain. The position is further responsible for leading the planning and execution of key initiatives with internal and external stakeholders, engaging regularly with company government and public affairs representatives and supporting applicable subject matter experts. The position reports directly to the Senior Director, Plastics Sustainability.
Director, Global Affairs
This position is responsible for supporting global policy and advocacy associated with chemical management, environmental, health, and safety. The position will support ACC’s engagement with national and international regulatory bodies, global conventions, relevant committees, trade associations and stakeholder groups on priority global issues for the chemical industry. The position reports to the Senior Director, Global Affairs.
Director, Federal Affairs
The position is responsible for lobbying and advocacy on the American Chemistry Council (ACC)’s Federal Affairs team, with a particular focus on chemicals management, fluorochemistry, site security, safety, and workforce development portfolios. The position also shares responsibility for supporting ACC’s product panel groups and understanding their interests in active and proposed legislation. As a member of the association’s Federal lobbying team, the position represents the ACC and its members on Capitol Hill and, as appropriate, the Executive Branch; develops lobbying and related advocacy strategy on assigned issues; schedules and facilitates meetings with lawmakers and staff on behalf of assigned product panel groups; and responds to regulatory inquiries and requests to testify at public hearings. The position collaborates with appropriate in-house ACC colleagues and reports directly to the Vice President, Federal Affairs.
Sales Manager, CHEMTREC
The position is responsible for closing prospective clients. The position is also responsible for leading all pre-contract discussions with a prospective client and capturing the opportunity within the CHEMTREC CRM System. This position reports directly to the Senior Sales Manager.
Emergency Services Specialist, CHEMTREC
The position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the assigned shift within the CHEMTREC Operations Center. The position reports directly to the on-duty shift manager and the Operations Manager.
Training Specialist, CHEMTREC
The position is responsible for supporting the Training Manager across the CHEMTREC Training program lifecycle. The position is also responsible for working inbound order requests, fulfilling orders for off-the-shelf training, and working with the team to develop and implement new training modules. The position reports directly to the Training Manager.
