Senior Director, Plastics Chemistry

The position is responsible for developing and implementing the Plastics Division’s strategies and policies at the intersection of plastics and chemistry, including but not limited to the chemicals in plastics throughout their lifecycle, microplastics, and the relationship between chemicals, plastics and public health and the environment. This person will serve as an internally- and externally facing expert on issues relating to the production of plastics; the chemicals present in plastic manufacturing, plastic products, and during plastic recycling and disposal; microplastics; and the laws and regulations that govern those issues. This person will also serve as a liaison between the Plastics Division and other divisions at ACC responsible for chemicals management policy. The position reports directly to the Vice President, Plastics.

Manager, QI/QA Training

This position is responsible for planning, building, and executing a comprehensive training operation to ensure excellence and continued quality improvement within CHEMTREC’s Emergency Operations Center and Emergency Response offerings. This position is also responsible for offering technical support to the CHEMTREC Training and Learning Academy for developing and conducting training offerings. The position reports directly to the Senior Director, Operations.

Manager, Political Mobilization

The position is responsible for enhancing the American Chemistry Council (ACC)'s advocacy efforts by assisting and motivating member companies and third-party groups to execute robust engagement in political and grassroots activities. In addition, the position is responsible for coordinating, managing logistics, developing content, and tracking stakeholders to support the Political Mobilization team’s advocacy efforts.  The position reports directly to the Senior Director, Political Mobilization.

Associate Director, Global Affairs

The position is responsible for serving as a lead policy, advocacy and technical resource for the American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) global regulatory advocacy efforts. The position is responsible for supporting ACC’s international chemical management and trade advocacy, including a focus on ACC’s advocacy related to global chemical management and science policy regulatory and the implementation of international chemical management agreements. The position reports to the Director, Global Affairs.

The position is responsible for achieving sales goals as well as ensuring consistent and profitable sales revenues growth through positive planning, deployment and management of sales resources. Manager, Political Mobilization

The position is responsible for enhancing the advocacy efforts of the American Chemistry Council (ACC) by creating champions from targeted members of Congress through direct political engagement within their applicable districts. The position is also responsible for assisting and motivating member company facilities representatives to execute robust engagement in field-based political and grassroots activities with an emphasis on digital advocacy. Senior Manager, Sales

The position is responsible for the day-to-day management of CHEMTREC’s sales program, with a specific focus on new customer sales.  The position is also responsible for completing sales forecasts, developing key process indicators (KPIs), and effectively executing the strategic sales plan.  The position reports directly to the Director, Sales and Business Development.

Director, Product Groups

The position is responsible for serving as the designated staff executive and managing all aspects of assigned groups within the Chemical Products and Technology (CPT) division, including directing administrative, technical, advocacy and planning services. The position will provide support for and manage specific CPT groups and consortia. The position works closely with key internal and external stakeholders and coordinates across ACC on key cross-cutting policy issues.  This position reports directly to the Senior Director, CPT.
