About the Responsible Care® Conference & Expo

For almost 40 years, the chemical industry has driven safety and stewardship through its world-class environmental, health, safety, and security initiative: Responsible Care®. As the premier, annual Responsible Care® event, this Conference brings together industry professionals to enhance understanding and advance the principles of Responsible Care and environmental stewardship, including facility safety, security, energy efficiency, air and water management, and more.

2027 Call for Abstracts Now Open

We're seeking engaging, educational, and practical session proposals that help attendees strengthen environmental, health, safety, security, and stewardship performance. We encourage submissions that showcase real-world experiences, lessons learned, measurable outcomes, and tools that other organizations can apply within their own operations.

Abstract submissions are welcome from ACC member companies, Responsible Care® Partner companies, Affiliate and Associate member companies, consultants, service providers, and other professionals with expertise relevant to the conference audience.

Submission Deadline: September 25, 2026

What We're Looking For

Strong abstracts should include:

  • A clear problem, challenge, or opportunity
  • Practical approaches, processes, tools, or programs implemented
  • Results, lessons learned, and measurable outcomes
  • Actionable takeaways attendees can apply in their workplaces
  • Insights relevant to Responsible Care® and sustainability professionals

Sessions should focus on education, peer learning, and practical knowledge attendees can take back to their organizations.
