This document provides guidelines for facility owners and/ or operators interested in transloading Polymeric Methylene Diphenyl Diisocyanate (pMDI) from rail tank cars to cargo tank trailers. This document is not meant to be exhaustive and may not cover all requirements for transloading at a particular facility or operation. This document is intended for facilities that transload pMDI, and describes the general requirements for transloading this type of material.
