COLORADO SPRINGS (Jun. 4, 2025) – The American Chemistry Council (ACC) Board of Directors today approved the addition of one new Manufacturing member and one new Responsible Care® Partner at its annual meeting today.

The manufacturing member approved is:

  • Liberty One Methanol LLC, “a major regional manufacturer of American, high-quality methanol since 2022. A network of river terminals links Liberty One to ports in the Great Lakes, Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico providing excellent logistical capabilities and making it an ideal supplier.”

The Responsible Care® partner approved is:

  • Merichem Company, “a leader in the beneficial reuse of spent caustic products, reducing waste reporting at the source and reusing spent caustic as a substitute for commercial products. Merichem’s reuse of spent caustics dramatically reduces costs and environmental footprint with a strong service commitment towards safe and responsible stewardship.”

ACC’s Responsible Care Partner program extends Responsible Care’s ethic of safety and sustainability to organizations in the chemical supply chain, including logistics, transportation and distribution, among others. Partners adhere to the same Responsible Care commitments as Manufacturing Members.
