The ACC Process Automation Users Group (PAUG) is a unique chemical- industry focused group dedicated to process automation. PAUG focuses on:
PAUG is only open to industry end users of chemical process technology and other related process automation technologies. PAUG encourages collaboration among industry peers and is the only independent North American process automation focused forum exclusive to the chemical industry.
Additionally, PAUG has executed a collaboration agreement with the User Association of Automation Technology in Process Industries (NAMUR). Under the PAUG/NAMUR collaborative relationship, the two organizations aim to improve the processes, policies, guidance and standards impacting the instruments and systems used in the process industry.
Two working groups are currently working under PAUG: the Automation Modernization Work Group and the Cybersecurity Work Group. Additional work groups may be created based on the interests of the PAUG members. Current plans potentially include a Remote Connectivity Work Group.
