The Petroleum Additives - Health, Environmental and Regulatory Task Group (HERTG) developed and completed categories, associated test plans, and related research as part of its commitment to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s High Production Volume (HPV) Challenge Program and International Council of Chemical Association (ICCA) Initiative on High Production Chemicals Program. The objective of HERTG is to pursue research and advocacy issues relative to regulatory and toxicological aspects of petroleum fuel and lubricant additives.
